Jess and Dave

Jess and Dave's wedding was totally unique and without a doubt one that certainly showed off their individual styles as people and better yet, as a dynamic couple. I not only created beautiful floral arrangements for them I also made their super fun cake topper! Here's the original sketch along with the hand crafted  paper clay lemur cake topper, look how cute it came out! The flowers all had little orange swarovski crystal centers.

Here's a great shot of them sharing their cake complete with the lemur topper!
Jess and Dave chose orange, white and green to go along with their retro rock-a-billy wedding. Look how fun the dresses with the orange and green flowers looked! Jess wanted all the bouquets to be small as she didn't want them to over power her vintage dress or the bridesmaids retro inspired gowns as well. We kept them simple with orange roses, white alstromeria, green pom mums and hypericum berries and green and white striped handles on all the bouquets.

Here you can see Dave's very simple boutonniere of just hypericum berries and a fun orange and white striped stem.
Jess and her mom purchased at yard sales these really cute tea pots which were filled with white alstromeria, orange roses, green mums and green trychelium and put on all the tables surrounded with sweet little tea lites.

  1. Great post! There was time when I use to bake, but then something bad happened and I can’t bake anymore. This is a wonderful cake and I am sure it would have been delicious. Both of them look very cute together. There is a wedding expo coming up in one of the Venues in NYC and I am very excited for that.
